Michael Neal, Co-Owner of N&F Training Solutions. Sheriff Michael Neal has been in law enforcement for the last 24 years. Sheriff Neal began his career with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office where he is currently the Sheriff. Sheriff Neal was a fire fighter for 11 years retiring at the rank of Captain. In 2007 Sheriff Neal started his career with the Arkansas Fish and Game as a game Warden. On March 20, 2010, Sheriff Neal was instrumental in stopping a mobile active shooter that resulted in a 17 second gun battle eliminating a father and son that had killed two West Memphis police officers, and who shot the Sheriff and Chief Deputy of Crittenden County. Sheriff Neal is the most decorated law enforcement officer in his history of law enforcement in the state of Arkansas. Sheriff Neal has received 43 awards for his heroic actions from that day. Sheriff Neal is the 2011 International Law Enforcement Officer of the year, as well as the Congressional Medal of Valor recipient. In 2019 Sheriff Neal and his truck he was driving from that day were inducted into the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington D.C. Sheriff Neal has been traveling North America since 2011 sharing his story in a debrief called "Critical Mindset" with law enforcement and public safety. Sheriff Neal is an ambassador for United States law enforcement when it comes to engagements in and around a vehicle as all five of his in-line of duty shootings have been in or around his patrol vehicle.
Jason Fitzwater, Co-Owner of N&F Training Solutions. Jason Fitzwater has been in law enforcement for twenty-one years. During Jason’s tenure, he worked as Patrol Deputy/Officer, Field Training Officer, Detective for seven years (3 years in Homicide), a member of Special Weapons and Tactics team for seven years (3 years team leader) patrol supervisor and chief of police. Jason has been a firearms instructor since 2006 and an adjunct instructor at Mineral Area College Law Enforcement Academy since 2013. In February 2018, Jason and Sheriff Michael Neal started N&F Training Solutions LLC. Over the last four plus years Jason has traveled to over thirty states within the United States and Canada training over seventeen-hundred law enforcement officers in Counter Ambush Tactics. Jason has written eleven law enforcement courses for N&F Training Solutions LLC that are POST accredited in the state of Missouri but other states also. In 2018 Jason wrote the “PTSD the Silent Sniper” course and has taught the training to thousands of law enforcement and Public Safety personal in the United States and Canada. Jason has been the keynote speaker at several conferences such as Florida Gang Investigators conference, Kentucky Tactical Officers Association, Tennessee Narcotics Officer Association conference. Jason has taught at the Missouri Police Chiefs Command college in 2019, 2020, 2021. Jason is currently a Lieutenant with the Mineral Area College Law Enforcement Academy.

Mike Alford, Instructor for N&F Training Solutions. Mike Alford is a veteran of twenty-eight years in law enforcement. Of those twenty-eight years, Mike has spent twenty-four of them in narcotics as a task force officer in Southeast Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri. Mike is currently a task force officer with the United States Marshals service, Fugitive apprehension unit. Mike's also a past President of the Missouri Narcotics Officer Association. Mike's a member of the Midwest Cycle Investigator Organization. He's also a DEA certified methamphetamine lab investigator. On July 19, 2018, the U.S Marshals Task Force was attempting to take a fugitive into custody in an apartment complex in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. During the attempted arrest a gun battle between the suspect and Marshal's occurred. A Poplar Bluff officer was shot by the suspect and while returning fire Mike took a round center mass to the vest. The vest stopped the round saving Mike's life and after a one-hour negotiation over the phone the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody.
Raul Rivas, Instructor for N&F Training Solutions. Raul was sworn into the Orlando Police Department in 1992. He was first assigned to midnight patrol. Then came stints on the bicycle squad and gang unit, before moving on to a multi-agency undercover drug task force named the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation (MBI). Raul then became a field training officer and developed an interest in investigations and Swat. Raul spent 12 years in the robbery unit with cross sworn duties with FBI Safe Streets and ATF Violent Crimes task forces. At the same time Raul was an assault team member on the Swat team. Raul then moved to the Fugitive Investigations unit and was cross sworn with the U.S. Marshals Raul Rivas served eighteen-years with Swat team and served as an Assistant Team Leader. Raul was involved in hundreds of warrant services, hostage situations, and barricaded gunmen during his tenure with the Swat Team. Raul was one of the Swat team members involved during the Pulse night club incident, shooting in Orlando, Florida. Raul received an award of valor for his actions and involvement from the Pulse Incident. Raul retired from the Orlando Police department in 2019. Raul currently speaks on the tactical response to the Pulse incident, as well as some of the PTSD awareness from the incident. Raul also instructs on a number of tactical topics.
Dave Kruse, Instructor for N&F Training Solutions. Dave is currently a Captain/Paramedic for Metro West Fire Protection District in St. Louis County, Missouri with over twenty-two years of experience. Dave has been a Tactical Medic for the St. Louis County Police Tactical Operations Unit for the past 10 years. Dave led the development of the St. Louis County Fire Ground Standards Initiative Active Killer SOG. He has co-authored the curriculum for MACTAC/Unified Command training in St. Louis County. Dave started Life Safety Strategies LLC in 2014 to provide tactical medical training for local law enforcement and has been providing in-service medical training for St. Louis County PD, FBI, US Probation, and many other agencies. He is experienced in multiple technical rescue disciplines including swift water, high angle, helicopter, and dive rescue. Dave has been a Fire/EMS instructor for 18 years and currently enjoys traveling around the region teaching tactical medical l lifesaving skills to police officers & other public safety professionals.
